Thank you for staying with the Y! We are excited to continue our School Age Child Care (SACC) program for the 2020-2021 School Year. SACC may look and feel a little different this year, but our goal remains: to create a fun, engaging and safe environment for all our participants, families and staff.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will now be offering a Full-Day program only for virtual learners. It will be open to students in grades 1 to 4 who attend Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools. Students will be grouped by grade, with a maximum of 10 children per group.

The program will run Monday through Friday from 8:00AM-4:00PM at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA. Extended Care from 4:00-6:00PM for those enrolled in the Full-Day program will be available at an extra cost. The program will begin Monday, September 14, and the September rate will be prorated. The school year will follow our Child Care calendar, and the below rates already include our Vacation Full Day program for when school is not in session. A full schedule will be available soon.

There are limited spaces in our Full-Day program and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Your child must be an active Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA member to register. If your membership is currently on hold, it will be taken off hold upon enrollment and you will be charged the prorated membership amount for this month. If you are not a current member, you can sign up for membership here.

If you are still currently enrolled in our After Care program and you wish to remain enrolled in the program when schools reopen, there is nothing further to do at this time.

With submission of the below form, you will be charged a $300 deposit per child for the Full-Day program and an additional $100 deposit for Extended Care, if there is space in the program. Your e-mail receipt will confirm your enrollment. If there is no space available, you will be added to a wait list. After enrollment, a member of our School Age Child Care Team will further reach out regarding paperwork needed prior to the start of the program.
