Forever a Place to Learn

We are excited to offer our School Age Child Care (SACC) program for the 2020-2021 School Year for the Scotch Plains-Fanwood and Clark public schools.

SACC may look and feel a little different this year, but our goal remains: to create a fun, engaging and safe environment for all our participants, families and staff.

We have restructured the SACC program to best serve the families in each school district, based on the district’s plans and schedules at the beginning of the school year. We will continue to work with the schools and families to adjust to any changes throughout the school year and will keep our families informed of updates on this page, through email and our social media pages.

Our program follows the YMCA of the USA School Age Child Care Curriculum Framework, which includes nine core content areas: Arts & Humanities, Service Learning, Character Development, Health, Wellness & Fitness, Homework Support, Literacy, Science & Technology, Service Learning, Social Competence and Conflict Resolution.

More information and registration for each program can be found by clicking on the School District below. If you have further questions about School Age Child Care at the Y, please contact Katie Lizer at klizer@fspymca.org.

We look forward to helping your children thrive this school year!
