“I joined the Y in 1993. Before the closure, my work schedule allowing, I went to the Y every morning, Monday through Friday for 1 to 2 classes. I took yoga, Pilates, HIIT, Pound, Defend Together and Strength Train Together. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, seeing new friends and seeing the social activity of the seniors in the café. When the Y closed, I missed the people, the classes and the routine. I started coming back as soon as the Y started doing classes outside and have taken Pound, yoga, Pilates, step and Strength Train Together. My experience coming back has been quite excellent! I really appreciate all the effort that has gone into us returning for exercise, while keeping everyone safe. When the weather gets too cold to carry on outside, I look forward to the continued ingenuity and creativity by the Y and its employees to keep this working.”
