Updated November 30, 2020
We want to make sure you are aware of an important update about your membership status. On October 9 and October 23 we sent an email to inform members on hold that we are reactivating memberships beginning December 1, 2020 and that you had the option to extend your hold 1 or 2 months longer.
Monthly billing for all memberships on hold due to COVID-19 will resume on December 1, 2020, unless you previously requested to extend your hold through January 1, 2021 or February 2021. If you requested an extension, you should have received an email from Kristine Keating confirming your request and the date that your membership draft will resume.
If you have any questions about your membership status, please contact Kristine at email@example.com.
If you extended your hold but are ready to come back to the Y sooner, you can take your membership off hold at any time here or come to the Y in person.
Reopening Our Y
As we reopen our Y we are focused on serving the needs of our community with the health and safety of our members and staff the top priority. We safely offered Camp and Child Care throughout the summer and introduced indoor personal training, lap swimming and outdoor group exercise classes in July. In September, we opened our indoor Wellness Center and brought back adult and youth swim lessons. We are excited to bring back more adult fitness options, such as Pickleball and Indoor Cycle class, and look forward to bringing back more programs in the coming weeks.
If you are you looking for a safe space for your child to learn, grow and thrive, we have select spots available in our Child Care programs for infants through school aged children.
It is starting to feel like the Y again and we are thrilled to welcome more members back to the Y each week. We look forward to welcoming you back, too!

Your Safety. Our Priority.
At the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA, the health and safety of our members and staff has always been our top priority. We have implemented new health and safety procedures, updated our guidelines for members and staff, created new usage guidelines, and have increased our cleaning and disinfecting routines.

Schedule a Tour
A lot has changed since you last visited the Y and we think you will be pleased with our new health and safety protocols, enhanced cleaning procedures, and the changes we’ve made to allow for safe social distancing.
We invite you to come take tour so you know what to expect before coming back to the Y for the first time.
We thank you for being a valued member of the Y and appreciate your patience as we bring back more programs and services to meet your needs. We look forward to seeing you soon at the Y.
