Everyone Belongs at the Y
Each day, our Y is filled with moments that matter. Children are learning and growing in our Child Care programs and discovering the magic of summer camp, neighbors are connecting and supporting one another, and individuals of all ages are building confidence in the water and in themselves. These everyday experiences strengthen our community in meaningful ways.
Why Financial Assistance Matters
At the Y, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to belong, grow and thrive. Access to child care, summer camp, wellness programs and community connection should not be limited by financial circumstances.
Last year alone, more than 1,000 individuals and families received financial assistance to participate in Y programs and memberships, with over $267,000 invested back into our community to ensure access for all.
Our Financial Assistance Program helps remove barriers so that more people can experience the support, connection and opportunities the Y provides.
What Financial Assistance Supports
Financial assistance opens the door to programs that support the whole person and the whole community. Through this support, children can access safe and enriching care, families can stay active and connected, and individuals can build confidence and improve their well-being.
Each year, this includes opportunities like:
-
3,000+ children participating in summer camp and enrichment programs
-
800+ youth learning life-saving water safety skills
-
600+ older adults staying active and connected through wellness programs
-
200+ 7th Graders receiving free memberships to start healthy habits at an early stage
- 25+ Cancer survivors regained their strength and found support through LiveSTRONG at the YMCA
These are more than programs. They are pathways to confidence, connection and lifelong impact. When more people have access to the Y, our entire community grows stronger.
