BEGINNER

Adults with no knowledge of swimming.  Skills taught: Rudimentary rotary breathing, floating, flutter kick, front crawl skills and treading water.

ADVANCED BEGINNER

Prerequisite: Swimmer must be able to complete 25 yards of rudimentary front crawl and be comfortable in deep water.  Skills taught: refining front crawl, back crawl and treading water.

INTERMEDIATE

Prerequisite: Swimmer must be able to complete 25 yards of front and back crawl and be comfortable in deep water.  Skills taught: breaststroke, sidestroke, elementary backstroke, rudimentary butterfly and turns.

ADVANCED

This class is a workout program, focusing on stoke development and endurance training.
