ADULT LOCKER ROOMS
The Adult Locker Room area is for adults age 18 and older only. Children under the age of 18 must use the Youth Locker Rooms. Saunas are available to members in the Adult Locker Rooms. Parents with children must use the Youth Locker Rooms.
If you wish to cancel, change your membership status, or change bank accounts or banks, the YMCA must have 30 days written notice. Your account will be drafted on or about the 15th of the month.
CELL PHONES/ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Due to the photographic capabilities of cell phones and other electronic devises (including iPods), they are banned from use in all locker and restroom areas.
Video recorders, cameras, or any other visual recording devices are not allowed within the YMCA without the consent of a YMCA Program Director and is limited to their program area only. No such device may be used in any locker room at any time. Anyone caught taking pictures of another person without their permission and knowledge will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law by the YMCA and will lead to the termination of their membership.
The Child Watch area is to be used during scheduled times only. A staff member must be present when the room is being used.
CLASS & PROGRAM PARTICIPATION
An active, current YMCA membership (either Full Privilege or Basic) is required in order to participate in any class or program offered.
Guest passes are available for adults 18 and over accompanied by a member, and present a valid ID and signed waiver. They are invited to use all areas of the Y with the exception of adult men’s basketball. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Guests are allowed 3 visits to the Y; thereafter there will be a fee of $10 per visit. Members are limited to 2 guests per visit.
Please check the schedule for Open Gym times. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent while in the Gym. Children are not allowed in the Gym while parents participate in an Adult Class.
All members may use a locker while they are in the building. It is strongly suggested that you bring a combination lock to secure your items in the locker rooms. Tokens for the valuables locker boxes (located in the hall behind the Wellness Center) are available at the Member Service Desk. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Members are required to have their Y ID cards with them for scanning upon entering the building. If a card is lost/stolen, a replacement card will be issued for a fee of $5.00 (after 10 days or 3 manual entries, whichever comes first).
Please keep in mind that handicapped spaces are only to be used by vehicles displaying official handicapped identification. Park in designated spots only; Illegal parking creates a safety hazard. We reserve the right to tow if necessary. For the safety of our members we ask that you do not drop off or pick up at the front door of the Main Facility. We ask that you consider refraining parking large SUV’s in corner spots since this limits visibility for other.
Members must be 14 years of age to use the Wellness Center. An initial orientation appointment is required before using the Wellness Center equipment. A towel is required at all times; a water bottle is also recommended. Please observe all regulations regarding equipment usage and time limits on the cardiovascular equipment.
YOUTH LOCKER ROOMS
Youth Locker Rooms are for individuals under 18. Children 6 and older must use the appropriate locker room. Adults 18 and over must use the Adult Locker Rooms. Parents accompanying children in the Youth Locker Rooms are required to shower in bathing attire. Mothers must use the Girls Locker Room and fathers must use the Boys Locker Room regardless of the gender of the child.
